Welcome to Asian Music Review! Tell us a little bit about you and your music.

I’m Joshua Ignacio, born and raised in Bahrain. I currently work here as an ELV engineer while pursuing my passion for music.

Congrats on the release! What was your inspiration when you were writing this project?

Released on May 10, 2023. “Unending Power” is an inspirational walk with God. It tackles the journey to keep falling in love with Him and trusting His work in all of us.

The song’s melody was inspired by all the alternative rock music and Christian songs I listen to. For the lyrics, it took me years to complete it (from my college days until the time I start working).

What inspired me to finally release the song was while I was in the Philippines during my vacation. I met various artists during a FILSCAP event. One day there were a couple of artists from FILSCAP that heard my acoustic demo of “Unending Power”. They loved everything about the song—melody, lyrics, and message. I’m very grateful and honored to receive positive feedback from them.

What lessons would you like to impart with your audience?

The song is more about knowing who our God is and what He can do whenever we fight our battles. It is also about submission to the authority of Jesus and acknowledging that He is the King of kings and Lord of Lords. The song is pretty much straightforward.

My goal is to reach the hearts of those who struggle to have a personal relationship with Jesus.

From a Christian’s perspective, God consistently gives us His unending love and grace despite our failures and feelings of shame.
