the internationally recognized South Korean boyband BTS member, Jung Kook has finally happened! His debut solo album, “Golden“, released on November 3, 2023 features the main track, “Standing Next to You“.
The music video is a visual masterpiece! Super production! Everything is on point. Kudos to Ian Eastwood and Bryan Puspos (choreographers), Tanu Muino (director) and Maurizio Von Trapp (producer). It beautifully highlighted the K-pop star’s dancing prowess through intricate choreography, while pursuing the mysterious femme fatale.
Jung Kook leveled up in this disco-funk track! It sounds familiar, nostalgic in a way that I can hear the intro of Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” and it’s also vibin’ “Another One Bites the Dust” by Queen at one point especially on the latter part of the song.
With Jung Kook’s artistry and versatility, we are in awe as we watch him channel his Justin Timberlake smooth vocals and jaw-dropping dance moves like Michael Jackson. He continues to showcase his vocal and dancing skills, plus his irresistible charm that endears his fans worldwide. I wonder what Jungkook will venture into next.
