Congrats on the release! What was your inspiration when you were writing this project?

Released November 3, 2023.Art of Letting Go” is a positive synth pop song about choosing oneself and letting go of things that don’t serve you.

This song is actually a sequel to my previous single “Wretched Heart”, I wrote this last April and it’s about finally letting go of someone who constantly breaks your heart. What inspires me to write this song is that I want to remind those who suffer from hanging onto a toxic relationship that making the right choice for themselves is of utmost importance.

What lessons would you like to impart with your audience?

We must learn to let go of things that no longer serve us—relationships, friendships, past mistakes, or old habits. Letting go is the bravest and healthiest choice one can make for themselves.

What is your favorite part of this body of work?

The lyrics! The line “you’re dumb, no fun” made me laugh out loud as I wrote the lyrics, and I was hoping my ex would listen to it. I also love the portion of recording as well. I spent almost three nights recording this song because I’m such a perfectionist and wanted it to sound professional.
