Welcome to Asian Music Review! Tell us a little bit about you and your music.

Hi Asian Music Review! I’m Vince DC, a Filipino founder of WAM Records and World Alternative Music in Toronto, Canada. My vision is to showcase all independent artists around the globe. I started this advocacy in 2020, when the pandemic hits the globe.

Congrats on the release! What was your inspiration when you accepted this project?

Released on December 25, 2023. Because of the passion, it drives me to push another compilation album before end of the year 2023. Making another volume is not an easy task to do especially not just one album, I made it three releases.

I released 3 editions, which are Philippine, Rap and North American editions. All songs included are destined to be part of it especially the song “Ikaw”, by The Encore from Cagayan De Oro, Philippines which means, God is the only way of everything and if you have faith in him, no one can stop you for anything you do in life.

What lessons would you like to impart with your audience?

Follow your dreams, do not stop chasing it. There will be a lot of challenges prior to success but you need trust and believe in yourself first before you will gain it.

What is your favorite part on this project?

My favorite part is, discovering a new artist which holding a masterpiece song that no one heard yet around the globe.

What’s next on your journey?

No plan yet for new releases but we have an album launch for the North American Edition this coming February 17, 2024 at Lee’s Palace at the Dance Cave here in Toronto, Canada. They can check our website or social medias for more updates.
